Dr. Yibing Wang -- The man behind the formula.
When Yibing Wang, M.D., PhD was a youngster in China, his dream was to heal people. He did anything and everything to fulfill that dream, and as a result of his efforts involving an extensive education in both traditional eastern medicine and western science, his dream came to fruition in the form of a product that has the power to impact the health of hundreds of thousands of people around the globe. After eight years of medical training in China earning what is comparable to a medical degree in the United States for cardiology, and learning the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese medicine, herbal medicine, and acupuncture, Dr. Wang yearned for more. His search led him to Louisiana State University where he received his PhD, majoring in Microbiology with a minor in Biochemistry, while focusing his research on genetic obesity. Dr. Wang spent six years as a Research and Development Scientist and Research Assistant in both Boulder, CO and Baton Rouge, LA. After his position as Research Director with Amrion, Inc. where he was responsible for the conceptualization and development of hundreds of new products, he paired up with BK Boreyko and has been involved with Vemma™ since its inception in 2004. Utilizing his experience as one of the country’s leading product developers, and by merging the best that eastern and western nutritional science has to offer, Dr. Wang spent many months developing Vemma™. His exhaustive research, including numerous overseas quests for the finest quality ingredients, resulted in one of the most powerful liquid nutritional products anywhere. If that weren’t enough, in addition to being Vemma’s™ Research and Development Director, Dr. Wang also oversees all the quality controls of Vemma’s™ bottling process in one of the most advanced state-of-the-art liquid manufacturing facilities anywhere. Dr. Wang works hard to ensure that the manufacturing facility maintains and even exceeds the FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practices standards when conducting the bottling of Vemma™. He also ensures that each batch of product is tested for purity, potency, and cleanliness by an independent 3rd party laboratory to verify the quality of each and every bottle. In a recent on-site inspection by the FDA, Vemma’s™ manufacturing plant passed every phase of inspection with flying colors under the management of Dr. Wang. He has also made sure that the plant is over the counter registered with the FDA as well as guaranteeing that it follows ISO 9000 standards (Dr. Wang is trained as a lead ISO 9000 auditor). All in all, it’s clear that Dr. Yibing Wang is a healthcare perfectionist.
